Steve has over 20 years of experience developing high speed networking equipment and previously led Coradiant's ground-breaking engineering team. Steve was VP engineering at Netsift, Inc, which was acquired by Cisco Systems for their pioneering work in network based security. Steve served as Senior VP of engineering and General Manager of Copper Mountain Network's carrier division, a major manufacturer of DSL equipment. Steve spent 16 years at Bell Labs inolved with data networking, computer and communications products. In addition, Steve has worked with a number of early stage startups. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Drexel University and a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Stanford. He also holds three patents in the area of networking equipment.

Mr. Kaushik is also the Analytics Evangelist for Google, and a frequent speaker at industry conferences in the US and Europe, such as eMetrics summits, Ad-Tech, Web 2.0 Expo and SES. Through his book, his blog, and strategic consulting, Mr. Kaushik focuses on helping companies unlock the power of data from human powered but technology driven innovations. His undergraduate degree was in Mechanical Engineering and he has an MBA from The Ohio State University.
